John 'Speedy' Keen was a talented singer and drummer from the 60's rock era...
Speedy Keen was born John Keen in Ealing, west London, in 1945, and started out playing guitar and drums in local bands. He worked with The Who, before joining the late 60s rock group ‘Thunderclap Newman’.
‘Y'Know Wot I Mean’ was released in 1975 and this was his second solo album, and the single ‘Someone To Love’ received heavy airplay.
John continued to write and produce works for The Heartbreakers and Motörhead, among others.
